Chicago was a really fun time. We met lots of new people and played with our friends Yea Big + Kid Static at The Hideout. The audience was huge too, around 150 people showed (w/ performers). Expect audio of this set sometime soon, we got a soundboard recording of it and it sounds great. After the show we stayed at Stefan (Yea Big) and Jamie's apartment and met their dog. Jamie made us homemade donuts in the morning (cinnamon and powdered) and they were extremely delicious.
We left Chicago around eleven in the morning and got into Cleveland a little after six. We went to my aunt's house for food and to meet up with a really big group of family there. Our show was at a coffee house in Lakewood named Bela Dubby. Another touring band named The Caribbean opened for us at this show, they were really good, we probably should have opened for them. We played to a crowd of around 30 or 40 people (mostly family with some people that came out on a whim) and everyone was really receptive of it.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel our New York show at The Black Cow at the end of the tour and head straight home from Cleveland for personal reasons. Hopefully we'll be able to make it back out there eventually and make it up to anyone who wanted to see us (lol x2).
in the next week or two we should have a short tour documentary edited as well as some new songs and various live recordings from the tour.
